Prés Verts Dairy Farm

Located on the border of Guérande, La Baule, and Saint-André-des-Eaux, Ferme Lait Prés Verts is an organic dairy farm that invites visitors to experience the peaceful rhythm of farm life year-round. Open to the public Monday through Saturday, everyone is welcome to observe the animals, learn about their environment, and immerse themselves in a preserved rural landscape.

Every day, starting at 4:30 p.m., visitors can watch the cows being milked—a special experience for young and old alike—and buy raw milk directly from the farm. It’s a simple, authentic experience that offers a deeper understanding of where products come from and the work farmers do.

The farm also processes its milk into raw-milk farmhouse cheeses, which are sold in the farm store as well as at the markets in Pornichet (outdoors) and Saint-Nazaire (indoors). These products reflect artisanal expertise and the quality of a committed local production.

The farm products store rounds out the experience with over 2,500 items: meats, deli meats, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, groceries, wines and beverages, bread, eggs… The store prioritizes short supply chains and local producers as much as possible. The bread is even baked on-site in the farm’s bread oven.

Throughout the year, Ferme Lait Prés Verts organizes guided tours and welcomes groups upon request. From April through September, fun activities punctuate the season: Easter egg hunts, farm-style breakfasts, barbecue concerts, country-style happy hours… So many opportunities to share a warm, welcoming moment in the heart of the farm.
