This hiking trail invites you to discover Pornichet in all its diversity, where ocean meets nature. Along its 16 kilometers, hikers cross contrasting landscapes that tell the story of the area's history and identity.

The route begins in the natural spaces of the hinterland, before moving on to emblematic sites such as the Forges area, witness to metallurgical activity dating back to Gallic times. Further on, the Sainte-Marguerite district recalls the beginnings of seaside resorts in the XIXᵉ century, when the first summer visitors were already choosing this corner of the coast for its gentle way of life.

The route continues along the coastal path, offering magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Loire estuary. With its heritage, unspoilt nature and maritime ambience, this hike helps you understand what makes Pornichet so special: a town turned towards both the sea and its natural surroundings.

The route is signposted from Chemin de Baudry and can be collected free of charge from the Tourist Office. Traffic conditions may vary according to rainfall and water levels. The coastal path is reserved for pedestrians; cyclists can use the dedicated facilities along the Bonne Source and Sainte-Marguerite beaches.
