Quai des Arts

Quai des Arts is Pornichet’s premier cultural venue. Conceived as an open and inclusive theater, it offers a multidisciplinary program accessible to all: theater, dance, circus, concerts, music, shows for young audiences, and contemporary performing arts.

Inspired by the values of popular theater, it combines artistic excellence with a close connection to the local community. Here, attending a performance is an experience of shared connection: an intimate venue, a direct relationship with the artists, and a special focus on welcoming all audiences, including school groups.

Beyond the stage, Quai des Arts invites everyone to become an active participant in cultural life. Artistic workshops, participatory projects, and meetings with theater companies offer countless opportunities to create, experiment, and sometimes even take the stage—regardless of skill level.

With the Café du Quai—a vibrant hub at the heart of the venue—the experience extends in new ways: open-mic nights, readings, cocktail concerts, and social events punctuate the season. A lively space, designed with and for the local community.
