Just a few kilometers from Pornichet, the landscape opens out onto the canals and wet meadows of La Brière. At the Port de Bréca, Nicolas Legal invites visitors to discover this unique territory through guided tours on a barge, the traditional marsh boat, and horse-drawn carriage rides, for a complementary approach between water and land.

The barge ride allows you to glide gently over the water, to the calm rhythm of the marsh. For around 45 minutes, you can admire the flora and fauna that make up this remarkable natural environment. The guide provides accessible commentary, inviting you to observe the birds, vegetation and balance of the marsh as it changes with the seasons.

The horse-drawn carriage ride offers a different view of the Brière. Drawn by a horse, it passes through the village of Bréca and the surrounding area, discovering thatched cottages, the life of yesteryear and Brière know-how. The slow pace of the tour encourages listening and discussion, providing a better understanding of the organization of the marsh and its associated uses.

It's possible to combine the two tours, barge and horse-drawn carriage, for a complete discovery tour lasting around an hour and a half. This formula allows you to alternate moods and experience the marsh in all its diversity.
