Music Festival
Throughout the city, music fills the air as the day goes on, with impromptu gatherings and open-mic events where each neighborhood creates its own unique atmosphere.
In the morning, the atmosphere is already kicking off at Le Bretagne bar on Boulevard de la République, with a musical interlude from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., echoing the bustle of the nearby market. Then, in the late afternoon, the action heats up at Place des Océanes with DJ pFeL starting at 5:00 p.m., before Square Hervo becomes a gathering spot for music lovers starting at 6:30 p.m.: the Cantadune association kicks things off, followed by Chantencore and its classics of French chanson.
In the evening, the outdoor patios and venues in the Mazy neighborhood take over with a variety of atmospheres: electro sets at O’Brien’s, an acoustic guitar-and-vocals concert at Le Bourlingueur with Charley Duds, roots reggae and dub energy at La P’tite Case with Faygo, and a musical journey through the 1980s at the Express Café. A mosaic of sounds that unfolds well into the night.
You can move freely from one venue to another, as the mood strikes, to enjoy an accessible and spontaneous celebration where everyone finds their own rhythm without constraints or a set schedule.
The streets of Pornichet then become a musical playground to explore, full of new discoveries.
