In Saint-Nazaire, Escal'Atlantic offers a singular experience: that of becoming, for the duration of a visit, a visitor-traveller. As soon as you enter, the scenography confuses your bearings. The dark hull of a liner takes shape, the door to the great hall opens... and the journey begins.

Spanning almost 3,500 m², the tour invites visitors to relive the epic story of the ocean liners that marked the maritime history of the XXᵉ century. The reconstructed spaces evoke the interior architecture of these giants of the seas, their lounges, passageways and living spaces. You can wander around, stop and relax in a deckchair or at the bar, just like the travelers of yesteryear.

The visit is not limited to observation. It appeals to the senses, the imagination and collective memory. Through objects, images, stories and soundscapes, Escal'Atlantic tells the story of great crossings, dreams of other lands, departures and arrivals. Each space invites visitors to understand the role of liners in the history of trade, travel and society.

Escal'Atlantic is an interpretation center dedicated to transatlantic liners, for all ages. The tour lasts around an hour and a half, and can be booked in advance to ensure a smooth experience. Visitors can move along at their own pace, choosing their breaks and letting themselves be carried along by the narrative.
