Water Festival – Musical Triathlon

What if we turned sports into a sound adventure?

Here, there’s no stopwatch and no record to beat. We’ll meet at the red buoy for a slightly unconventional start: while one group boards a canoe for a 45-minute paddle, paddles in hand and eyes fixed on the horizon, the other sets off along the coastal trail, carried by the rhythm of the waves. The effort remains gentle, almost meditative, and listening gradually becomes the guiding thread.

We then meet back on the beach for a moment of stillness facing the ocean. Daunik Lazro’s tenor saxophone dialogues with Julia Robert’s viola and viola d’amore in an open-air concert, like a musical breath between sky and sea. Then the roles are reversed: the paddlers become walkers, and the walkers take up the paddles. At the finish line, there are no medals, but the feeling of having traversed a landscape in a different way, with all the senses awakened, and a desire to prolong the experience.
